Local september flavor

Septemberfest in Simsbury.  A nice evening for some bouncy house time.

Some ice cream to top off the night.  We were biking home, so we needed to garner some energy.

Apple picking in Glastonbury, CT.

 The honeycrisp apples had just ripened and were perfect for picking.  The boys picked a LOT of apples.

 The tractor ride to the fields might have been the highlight.

The Big Day

Here is the actual first day of Kindergarten. Graham got to pick out his outfit. He was excited. The bus will pick him up from day care and take him to Pine Grove. Probably better that Mommy didn't have to watch get on the bus and wave goodbye.

 Leo was sooo proud (and a little jealous) of his big brother heading off to Kindergarten.

Kindergarten Orientation

Brothers posing together before Graham's Kindergarten Orientation. Leo started Pre-K this week too. Although, he wishes he was taking the bus with Graham to Kindergarten.

 Big guy. So ready. Mom made him wear this shirt. He wanted something with "drawings" on it. I gave in the next day.

 He recognized some friends and met Mrs. Fisher (black and white dress in the background).
