Recipes and Meal Planning

In an ongoing effort to answer the question, "what's for dinner", I am going to try and keep track of some meals and recipes that have worked for our family. I like cookbooks, but I find I don't really use them to the extent that I have time for--- or the ingredients for anyway!!!! We will see how this goes.

POTATO LEAK SOUP
This soup was very yummy. I used a combination of two recipes I found online:

I already lost the second website--- it had pictures which was nice. Slice the potatoes and the water/ broth should just cover them all.

I added small pieces of cauliflower and chopped broccoli (from our garden). The potatoes also came from our garden. The marjoram and the thyme made this soup tasty. I didn't put any cream in it, maybe just a little milk. The soup was really easy and relatively quick to make.

Michael ate it and really liked it (which is always a challenge). Will let you know if Graham ate it.
